Equestrian Activities
Many equestrian activities and riding centres are to be found in Wicklow’s forests,
countryside and mountain trails.
County Wicklow offers a variety of equestrian centres to cater for all levels of
skill and experience. Typical prices are between €20 and €40 for an hour long horse
riding session. Riding centres offer group & private lessons, trekking, childrens
lessons and cross-country.
Every August the famous Royal Dublin Society Horse Show, Irelands biggest annual
equestrian event, is held in Dublin, within easy access of County Wicklow.
