Food and Drink
Food and drink have always been at the heart of Irish culture and there are
plenty of opportunities throughout County Wicklow to enjoy this aspect of Irish
life at its finest.
In the immediate vicinity, Avoca village is home to Fitzgeralds pub, made famous
in the BBC television series Ballykissangel. Beyond Avoca, a number of
good restaurants and pubs are located within an easy 15-25 minutes drive of
Ashdene, in towns and villages such as Woodenbridge, Arklow and Wicklow. Across
